World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated every year to encourage breastfeeding and to improve the health of babies around the world.
Breastfeeding has many benefits for both mom and baby:
Breastfed Babies:
*are at lower risk for SIDS
*have less spit up, diarrhea, and constipation
*are at a decreased risk of allergies

Moms that Breastfeed :
*burn extra calories to help lose pregnancy weight
*have a lower risk of breast cancer
*have a lower risk of ovarian cancer
