Change in Tests On Drinking Water Samples

BEGINNING FRIDAY, MARCH 27, TCHD WILL NOT PERFORM BACTERIOLOGICAL TESTS ON DRINKING WATER SAMPLES UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

To drop off or pick up a water sample bottle please call 417-334-4544 ext 590 from your car and an Administrative Clerk can guide you further.

Verify the following to ensure your water sample can be processed:
1. Ensure the following sections are completely filled out on the form: Sample collection date and time, collection point, property information, collector information, well and sewage information, and reporting information (including phone number).

2. Water sample bottle must be filled between the two lines. We cannot test the sample if it is not within this range.

3. Your sample must be dropped off March 23- 26 (Monday through Thursday) by 3 PM. Samples WILL NOT be accepted after 3 PM.

Beginning Monday, March 30, all drinking water samples will be sent through the courier to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (MODHSS) State Lab for testing. The Taney County Health Department will continue to be a drop off location for water samples to be submitted to the state lab. Pick up location and time is listed below:
Location: Taney County Health Department located at 320 Rinehart Road

Courier pick up time: 2 pm Monday through Friday
