Tuberculosis Program

The Taney County Health Department offers free/low cost TB skin testing.

Tuberculosis (TB) tests are available for individuals at our office for:

• Individuals who have been exposed to a confirmed case of tuberculosis will be tested at no cost.
  
  
• Individuals who need a TB test for work, school or other reason unrelated to exposure to a confirmed case. A fee of $15* applies.

Call either Taney County Health Department location to make an appointment.

Other TB services available:

• Diagnostic Service Program is available to evaluate a positive TB test result.  Program guidelines apply.
  
  
• Follow-up treatment and case management is available for individuals with tuberculosis infection or disease.
  
  
• With a doctor’s order, medication is provided by the Missouri Department of Health and available at no cost to individuals with TB infection or disease through the Taney County Health Department.
