Show Me Healthy Women

The Show Me Healthy Women (SMHW) program offers NO COST clinical breast exams, mammograms, pelvic exams, and pap smears. You must live in Missouri and meet age and income guidelines. Proof of income and residency are required.

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer and the second leading cause of cancer death among women in Missouri. Screening for and early detection of breast and cervical cancer reduces death rates and greatly improves the patient’s survival.

SMHW services are directed to low-income, uninsured women aged 35-64. The program provides clinical breast examinations, mammograms, and Pap tests for eligible women who participate in the program as well as diagnostic testing for women whose screening outcome is abnormal.

More information on the Show Me Healthy Women program is below. To make an appointment or for additional information call, 417-546-4725 or toll free 1-888-707-4725.
