The Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act promotes the safe use of pools, spas, and hot tubs by imposing mandatory federal requirements for suction entrapment avoidance. This Act became effective December 19, 2008. For further information on pools and spas, click here.
The Taney County Health Department enforces these ordinances at all public pools and spas inside the city limits of Branson, Missouri, including hotels, motels, public pools, and water parks.
