2008 Community Health Assessment

The 2008 Community Health Assessment of Taney County provides a detailed look at health data collected for a number of public health issues. Topics in the assessment include demographics, socio-economics, environmental health issues, maternal and child health, youth issues, chronic diseases, communicable diseases, diversity issues, senior issues, social issues, local public health services and health care services.

This assessment will be used to stimulate discussions among stakeholders in the community. From these discussions priorities can be set and community based initiatives started or strengthened to help address the health issues in Taney County.
