Permits & Regulations

Rabies Vaccinations: The City of Branson has a rabies vaccination law in effect. Rabies vaccinations are required for dogs, cats, and ferrets by a licensed veterinarian. It is also required by law that the rabies tag be worn at all times.

Coggins Test: A Coggins blood test is required for any horse prior to being allowed at any show or organized event in the City of Branson. It tests for Equine Infectious Anemia, a viral disease of horses for which there is no cure or vaccine.
