Screenings and Tests
Blood pressure screenings are done at the health department free of charge. A clinic is offered on Tuesdays from 8-12 at the Forsyth office or on a walk-in basis at either office.
Confidential screening for chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphllis are offered at the health department. Treatment and education programs are available. HIV screening along with pre and post-test counseling are also available. Free of charge. Please click here to find the location nearest to you.
Tuberculosis skin tests are available for people who have symptoms or have been exposed to a confirmed case of tuberculosis. Follow-up is done on active cases and TB medication can be obtained from the health department (provided by the Missouri Department of Health) with a doctor's order free of charge.
