What is the “A-List?”

The A-List is a spin off of our Restaurant Inspections database. Quite simply, it is a list of all those medium or high risk restaurants that had a routine inspection within the past two weeks, and passed.

Why have the “A-List?”

There are several reasons for making this information available. First and foremost, this list is to congratulate those restaurants and their employees for their efforts in food safety. These restaurants and managers deserve to be recognized for their diligence in helping to keep the public safe.

Why the time limit?

Our online Restaurant Inspections database is updated every two weeks. As a result, the updated information will be available at that time.

Don’t see your favorite restaurant?

The A-List is only meant to highlight those restaurants that passed their routine inspections in the last two weeks. High risk establishments in Taney County have a routine inspection three times per year. Just because a particular restaurant is not listed does not mean they are not serious about food safety. It could simply be that they have not been inspected in the past two weeks. For more details about a particular restaurant – A-List member or not –  please check our Restaurant Inspections database, which has the past two years worth of data available for all high and medium risk establishments.
